what is an ARC?
This stands for Advance Readers Copy. These are bound copies of proofs that substantially reflect the finished book but are minus proofreaders' corrections and final text revisions from the author. They are circulated to generate pre-publication buzz and are not for resale. The terms "ARC" and "galley" are used interchangeably.
How has COVID-19 impacted the printing and shipping of ARCS?
Due to COVID-19 we are currently limiting our printing and shipping of ARCs. This measure has been put in place for the safety of our printer and warehouse employees so they can maintain social distancing during the pandemic while prioritizing the printing and shipping of our finished copies to our retailers and readers.
At this time, we are primarily sending eGalleys instead of ARCs. For a full look at our available digital review copies, please visit us on NetGalley:

HOW ARE YOU PRIORITIZING DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION WHEN DISTRIBUTING REVIEW COpIES?
We believe in prioritizing inclusivity among our reviewers. We value all forms of Diversity and Inclusion: race, ethnicity, gender identity, religion, disability, sexuality, etc. In each title application form, influencers are invited to self-identify as someone from a marginalized community.
Please note: Once the application period ends, influencers will be selected within ten business days, and then any personal information collected is discarded. We do not store personal information, including that regarding race, gender, or sexual orientation, after influencers have been selected for each title.
When can I expect to receive my review copy?
After the deadline for the application has passed, we will notify applicants within 2 weeks, depending on volume.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are experiencing delays. At this time, please allow at least two to three days for processing and an additional week for shipping once you have been selected. Please allow at least fourteen business days before contacting us.

I'm an International INFLUENCER, can I still request a review copy?
Knopf, Doubleday, Pantheon, Schocken, and Vintage & Anchor are US-based publishers, so we are only able to provide copies to influencers within the US. If you are located internationally, we recommend you first check with your local publisher. You can also reach out to InternationalPublicity@penguinrandomhouse.com to check on the rights restrictions and availability of review copies on a title-by-title basis.
When do new titles become available for request?
Every month, Knopf, Doubleday, Pantheon, Schocken, and Vintage & Anchor create new application forms to request different titles. The best way to learn about new titles as soon as they're available is through our Influencer Database.
I LOVED the book you sent me and I want to do more to support it on my channel. What should I do?
