Your order number should be on your receipt. If you can't find the order number, you can write in the name of the bookstore you purchased the book from and the date of the order.

Do I need to attend a D&D Crochet Social Hour in order to enter the sweepstakes or receive the free Schools of Magic Granny Square crochet pattern?

No, you do not need to attend an event. You just need to order the book and enter your order information in the form. You will be entered into the sweepstakes and receive your free crochet pattern.

Do I need to crochet one of the Schools of Magic Granny Square patterns in order to attend the D&D Social Hour?

No! You just need to buy the book from one of the participating stores to get your ticket to the event. Though, we do encourage you to try your hand at the pattern and/or bring other crocheted D&D items and crocheting tools to the event so you can share with fellow D&D crafters!

If I preordered from one of these stores already, can I enter the sweepstakes?

Yes! Orders placed at any time through 11:59pm ET on Monday, March 30 count and you may enter this contest until then. If you preordered the book from one of these stores before this contest was announced, you may still enter your order information above to participate in this sweepstakes.

I’m based outside of the United States, can I still enter the sweepstakes?

No, unfortunately, this is only open to USA residents. If you have preordered your book from outside of the USA, you will not be eligible for this sweepstakes. This form is only accessible when you are within the USA; if you are traveling, please save your receipt and enter your information upon your return until 11:59pm ET on Monday, March 30. If you live in Canada, some Canadian stores are hosting D&D Crochet Social Hour events--see if there is one near you!

I preordered multiple copies. Can I enter the sweepstakes multiple times?

No, this sweepstakes is limited to one entry per person. Please consult the rules if you have additional questions about the entry terms.

Will I receive an email confirmation for the sweepstakes?

No, you will not receive an email confirmation. A confirmation of your entry will appear on this page once you have completed this form. Please scroll up if you do not see it after you hit "submit." It will appear above these FAQs if you have successfully entered. You must enter all information into the form in order for your entry to count.

How will I know if I have won the sweepstakes?

You will receive an email on or after April 7. Please make sure you look in your SPAM folder as occasionally emails are filtered. We would hate for you to miss your email notification.

How do I get my free Schools of Magic Granny Square crochet pattern?

Once you have entered your information into the form above (the same form you enter for the sweepstakes!), you should get a prompt to download the Schools of Magic Granny Square pattern. It will be a 5 page PDF with instructions on how to make 8 different granny squares based on the 8 schools of magic from Dungeons & Dragons.

I am attending one of the D&D Social Hour events hosted by one of the participating stores. Can I enter the sweepstakes and get the free Schools of Magic Granny Square crochet pattern?

If you are attending an event in Canada, the sweepstakes is unfortunately exclusive to USA residents. You will still be able to receive the free Schools of Magic Granny Square crochet pattern from the store. Please contact the store for the pattern. If you are attending an event in the USA, yes, your book event ticket counts toward the sweepstakes. Just make sure you enter your ticket number, or the bookstore and event date, in the Transaction or Purchase Number section on the form. That will enter you for the sweepstakes and you should also get prompted to download the PDF.
