Maris Jones is a Brooklyn-based creative artist, storyteller, photographer, and filmmaker known for her signature vision, which combines contemporary trends with her love of world-building, animation, nostalgia, fashion, classic film, art, and music.
A Philadelphia native born to artistic parents, Jones coped with the isolation caused by her cerebral palsy by creating art in the comfort of her home, eventually turning to social media to share her creations. Ultimately rising to popularity in 2015 on Vine, Jones’ following has expanded exponentially since—she has grown a loyal TikTok and Instagram following, totaling in over 1.7M followers and 50M likes between her pages.
Jones has conducted major campaigns and collaborations with brands such as Apple, Gucci, Nordstrom, Peacock, Walmart, Adobe, Liquid Death, Universal Music, amongst others, and has directed music videos for Allison Ponthier and Olivia Newton-John. She has collaborated with Chappell Roan, set designing for several of her performances, including her recent, viral Gov Ball set and has been featured in publications like Vogue, Rolling Stone, Nylon, and Vice.
