About the Authors
An Italian boy met an American girl and the rest was history. Jessi and Alessio Pasini have combined their love for food and culture to bring authentic Italian cuisine to homes around the world. Jessi was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, while Alessio comes from Cavasso Nuovo, a small village in the picturesque Friuli Venezia Giulia region of Northern Italy. What started as a fun project of sharing videos on social media quickly grew into a popular platform where they explore authentic Italian food, and the hilarious differences between Italian and American culture. Through their videos, they’ve been able to showcase authentic Italian ingredients that are often available in everyday grocery stores, educate viewers on exactly what is and isn't in a true Italian recipe, and inspire others to find the fun and excitement that awaits in the kitchen. When they’re not filling their plates with mounds of delicious pasta or making new videos, Jessi and Alessio love to travel around the different regions of Italy, discover hidden-gem foods, gather recipes from Alessio's Italian relatives, and share their fertility journey with their growing community.
