• Tell us your Dolly story by uploading a brief audio or vertical video clip (no longer than 2 minutes; accepted formats are MP3, WAV, MP4, or MOV.) 

• To accomodate a max file size of 250MB, set camera settings to lowest resolution.

Please read these terms before participating, to ensure your submission qualifies for consideration:

• You must be 18 years or older and a U.S. resident

• Your story must be entirely original and user-generated, without the use of AI

• If other people appear in your video, you must have their permission to include them

• Videos must be shot vertical, 250MB max

• No copyrighted content may appear in the submission: music, images, logos, etc.

• You may submit multiple entries (up to 2), but please submit them individually

• PRH Audio reserves the right to edit submissions for editorial or promotional purposes

• Submissions will be accepted from July 2, 2025 through July 31, 2025 only

• Submitting a video or audio clip does not guarantee inclusion in the audiobook. Neither Penguin Random House or Dolly Parton is entering into any agreement with you to use your Submission or maintain its confidentiality.
  

• You grant Penguin Random House LLC and Dolly Parton (collectively the “Companies”) and their respective directors, officers, employees, parent subsidiaries, affiliates, successors and assignees a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable, exclusive license to use, publish, reproduce, modify, create derivative works, publicly perform, distribute and display video, audio, and images of you, as well as your name, state, voice and likeness as they pertain to your submission for the STAR OF THE SHOW Audiobook Fan Campaign (the “Submission”) in whole or in part, in any and all media now or hereafter known, including but not limited to the Star of the Show audiobook and the advertising, publicity and promotion thereof, for any purpose whatsoever, without further permission and without consideration or payment of any kind. Additionally, you release and discharge Companies or their assignees from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the Submission, or me, my name, state, video, audio, image, voice or likeness, including without limitation any and all claims for libel, invasion of privacy, or involving any of my rights of publicity (if any).
  

• You confirm that that the Submission does not include obscene, offensive, or inappropriate (in the Companies’ sole and absolute discretion) material or defame any person, or otherwise infringe on any person’s proprietary rights. You also confirm that you recorded the Submission yourself (or have secured permission from the person that recorded it) and have secured permission from any persons who appear in the Submission.
  

• You have read and agree to Penguin Random House's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use and understand that Penguin Random House collects certain categories of personal information for the purposes listed in that policy, discloses, sells, or shares certain personal information and retains personal information in accordance with the policy. You can opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information anytime.     

• You have read and agree to Dolly Parton’s Privacy Policy. 

• The Companies reserve the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these terms, or to cancel the campaign at their sole discretion, by posting updates to this page.
