God’s Little Astronomer
written by Tina Cho; illustrated by Marta Álvarez Miguéns
Blast off to space and discover how every part of the universe—the planets, the stars, asteroids, meteoroids, and more—displays God’s glory, creativity, and, most importantly, His love for you and me!
What do you and a comet have in common? You’re both made and loved by a great big God!
In God’s Little Astronomer, author and educator Tina Cho invites young readers to blast off to see God’s creation in the heavens. From the sun, moon, stars, constellations, and comets, this out-of-this-world introduction to space will teach budding astronomers new words, facts, and concepts, while also encouraging them to see God throughout the universe, and reinforcing the message that the same God loves them too.
Each page includes fact-filled sidebars plus an accompanying Bible verse, making God’s Little Astronomer the perfect combination of faith and science for budding scientists.
“Cho takes children on a journey into outer space in [this] series that focuses on science through the lens of faith . . . The conclusion rightly notes that while the wonders of space are amazing and exhibit ’God’s wondrous love,’ God sees us as ’His most special creation in all the universe.’”—WORLD Magazine
Look Inside God’s Little Astronomer
“There’s this erroneous belief that somehow there is a gulf between the sciences and faith, but this book ties together fact and faith in a brilliantly illustrated educational, fun journey your child will want to take over and over again. Author Tina Cho and illustrator Marta Álvarez Miguéns knocked it out of the park with the perfect blend of whimsy, fun facts, and even Bible verses seamlessly woven into the pages.” —Bunmi Laditan, Bunmi’s Bookshelf
